Who are they Killing ?

We Indians do die - out of hunger, accidents, suicides, rape, communical clashes, un-cared old age - you can add a few hundred more reasons. So where does terrorism fit into all this. Is it a competition that the terrorists are into - for being the best killing weapon in India. The people who have been killed in Ahmedabad, Surat, Jaipur, Bangalore, Delhi in recent past or those who have been killed in Mumbai 15 odd years back are completely inconsequential. So am I...and for all you know...even you. We can die any moment - dont need an LED blast. We have several problems that can Kill us....so I wonder who are they terrorist trying to Kill ? 

My mind and my memory tries to think - when was the last time - the terrorist killed a major social stakeholder - a person,  a group that manages or is society's monitor ... can you guys remember anyone consequential killed by a terrorist ? 

Will things change ? Common Wealth Games, Nuclear Deal, Olympic Medals, Inflation Rise, 10 Killed by a Terrorits attack in Kashmir and India playing Australia in a cricket match - is how a news headline looks almost every other day. Do we ever stop and even think why the 10 were killed in Kashmir. Yeah if its main land India - the news is all day - Terror Strikes India. Isn't it Clear double Standards that when Kashmir is being under a terror attack - then its just another day else we are under attack. 

To me - we have been always under attack. Tougher terror law - where does it start and when will it start. Do we require a tragedy like 9/11 to trigger a change in our out-look to terror. Killing a family who had gone to shop on a diwali or onam will change nothing. What will change is perhaps the society's outlook to the death of a person due to a terror attack. Let's have an all India Bandh on all days that India is hit by Terror. Let's create a cell in the Services that is responsible for management of Terror. Let's have an Ministry that manages the new social menance - called Terrorism. Let India be severe in its Terror Punishment. Let the judiciary have a special cell who can handle terrorism suspects with a week's turnaround time. Let Terrorism Management be a key course in our Management Schools - for all you know - professionally we can kill the professionals whose occupation is Killing. 

Media - I feel they just need to be more sensitive - rather than having a big fight show a week post a terror attack. Have a terror index ? Make an opinion poll on what Indian think should be a way to tackle terrorism. 

I for one believe - we Indians have a solution to everything and terrorism is something that we havent been serious enought so far to solve it. 

The only thing that is getting killed everytime a single Indian dies in a terror attack is India's patience. We surely are getting closure to the time of having a Gandhi of modern times to get India free from Terror. 

We will be out there in the open...lets see how many will they kill...

What is Lifket?

Life + Cricket = Lifket or thats how I have viewed life in the last 10 odd years of my post engineering school days. 

[For those who dont follow cricket - then lets say you are already the so called minority (you might be saved if you follow soccer / football). Wont beat around the bush - Cricket is a game played by 22 players and 2 umpires who officiate it. To know more - visit India anytime and just walk-in to any of the by-lanes. ]

When I was in school folks always kept saying - Sonu just do your 10th grade and 12th grade and life will be a cake walk. Cake my *@$^% its only been tough since then. I wish I had flunked a few grades - at least the regret would have been that I am under priviledged and a few government quotas could have helped me. [not getting into any religious grind].

So that started my journey to explore what is that I should do. What is right and what I consider wrong. Whats a thought and what is that I should avoid to think. It was a constant test of my ability to be a complete person - who can bowl, bat and field. The game is played for 5 days - perhaps life has 5 stages - for me the stage 0 was over when I left by technology school.
